The exterior of the Springfield Science Museum is decorated with many beautiful bas relief sculptures. Originally a museum devoted exclusively to natural history. Accordingly, sculptures represent various flora and fauna: frogs, owls, sharks, beetles, squirrels, octopus, flowers, and other living creatures are represented. These interesting depictions are placed high on the building walls and are often go unnoticed by the visiting public.
