To the rear of the NRHP site, the John Abbott House is this unique and different bird house, fashioned by local Amish folk. There are others for sale at this site which double as an antique store. This one they are keeping. The bird house has a Victorian Top, which looks like some kind of hammered metal, perhaps cooper or bronze. The home part is made of wood slats.

Is this a functional box ?: Yes

Is this birdhouse for display only?: No

Is this box occupied?: I don't know

Species: purple martins or starlings
