This is a small kid friendly zoo along the boundary of Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY and is participant in the Wildlife Conservation Society. The central courtyard has a sea lion pool and is surrounded by a few buildings with displays and a vending area. There is a nature trail and a barn/petting area where one can feed the animals. Plan on 2-3 hours at most here. Nearby are the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and Prospect Park, a large park with lots of walking trails.
