Turangi is known as the "Trout Fishing Capitol Of The World" with access to Lake Taupo, the Tongariro River and many other smaller lakes and rivers. Artificial trout flys are used extensivily to catch both rainbow and brown trout. This feature, in a landscaped garden, in Poto Street is the perfect theme for the area.
