Plaketa s mapou sveta, polednikem a souradnicemi byla umistena 13.10.1997 k 93 vyroci povyseni Vysocan na mesto. Zvlastni vyroci i zvlastni souradnice - pri blizicich se volbach je kazda slavnostni udalost potreba, takze "vrobime plaketu s vysocanskym polednikem" - a korunu na mistnim urade tomu dali ve chvili, kdy vzali jako nulty polednik nikoliv greenwichsky, ale ten prastary ze 17.stoleti na ostrove Ferro (El Hierro), ktery se ale uz asi 100 let za nulty nepovazuje. Proto ty E souradnice uplne mimo na Ukrajinu :).

Plaquette from 13.10.1997 to memorize 93 years of anniversary of promotion of Vysocany village to a town. Strange anniversary and strange east coordinates. Everything caused close elections of councillors. Some ceremony to attract people was needed - "well we can made a plaqette". But some councillor has read very old book, where as Prime Meridian wasn't Greenwich Meridian, but meridian on the Ferro (El Hierro) island - Ferro Meridian was Prime Meridian, but ninty years ago :). Well ceremony before the election was done, metal plaquette placed, and east coordinates are far far away from here (the Ukraine) :)
