You learn something new everyday... The Masons use not only a different calendar...but several different calendars depending on which Rites they adhere to. This date uses the Blue Lodge "A.L" which stands for Anno Lucis..."Year of Light".

The lodge was established in 1909... in a rented space a few blocks from here by eleven members (all of whom were immigrants to California.)
The Lodge's website (visit link) shows that the Lodge is rented out to local groups such as the Chamber of Commerce and for the teaching of certain classes.
