This man-made waterfall is a beautiful addition to the landscaping at the new Prairie Center Medical Building in Sioux Falls. It has been said that there are healing qualities in water, and if this so, the location of this waterfall is ideally placed. The soothing sounds of water splashing down slabs of Sioux quartzite rock and into a pond with a bubbling fountain, contribute to a peaceful place to visit. A pair of resident ducks also find this place inviting. The decorative pond and waterfall can be seen on Cliff Avenue just south of Avera Hospital.
