The Midvale Water Tank is located off East Bridge Street behind the Midvale Fire Station. The first settlers in the area were the J.H. Reed family in 1868. The first home in Midvale was built in 1876 and by 1920 the community had a population of 750. Today the community has a population of less than 200.
