The Century Farm and Home Program began in 1948 to celebrate century farm owners carrying on family traditions that are deeply rooted in a pioneering spirit, hard work and dedication to Wisconsin’s rich family farming tradition. The Sesquicentennial Home Program was added in 1998. There are currently over 8,180 Century Farms and Homes throughout the state and over 500 families have received the honor of owning a Sesquicentennial property.
