Railway station building in Hradec Králové was built in 1929-1935. It was built according to plans of arch. Vaclav Rejchl and his brother arch. Jan Rejchl. When it was opened, it had been one of the most modern train stations in middle Europe.
In the centre of the 152 meters long building is 46 meters high water tower funtionally incorporated into the complex. In upper three floors are installed water reservoirs and the tower is in tho top finished with observation gallery (recently inapproachable) with 9 meters high "helmet". On the ouside walls of the tower railway cloks are installed.
