“Rising Star” is actually a shed quilt but a striking one to those driving by. A small eight pointed orange star is set inside a larger blue one, the two stars flanked by the name of the quilt. This delightful design can be easily found on the south side of 12th Street in the east side of town near Hwy 10. It is #17 on the Sioux Country Barn Quilt list.
