This Fenghuang sculpture sits near the top of the Mengjia Longahan Temple. In the West, it is commonly referred to as the Chinese phoenix or simply Phoenix. It is believe that the phoenix only appear in areas or places that are blessed with utmost peace and prosperity or happiness. The Fenghuang has very positive connotations. It is a symbol of high virtue and grace. This temple is a very nice place to visit.
