"Nectar" is one of the most famous works of the artist Joana Vasconcelos and belongs to the Berardo Collection is exhibited at the entrance of in the Berardo Collection Museum, housed in the CCB (Belem Cultural Center).

Joana Vasconcelos (Paris, November 8, 1971) is a Portuguese contemporary artist, considered one of the most striking of the last decade. He graduated from the AR.CO in 1996. Often works with sculpture and installation.
Many of his works are shown in private collections in Europe. At the Venice Biennale in 2005, the artist represented Portugal with The Bride. He has won several awards, including the tender of the Berardo Museum.
In February 2008 will usher in the Pinacoteca in Sao Paulo, the "contamination", described as "a textile body, colorful, misshapen, tentacled.
On June 30, 2009, one of his works entitled "Independent Heart Gold" was auctioned at Christie's for 192,000 euros. The piece was bought by an anonymous British collector, who lend to the Berardo Museum in Lisbon.
"Nectar" is a sculpture with seven meters high and three across, composed by iron and glassbottles, and are an example of the application of everyday objects to create large dimension pieces.
