The Colonial Revival style building was constructed by the Works Progress Adminstration in 1940 (date per the cornerstone). In 1995, the facility was converted for use by the Sevier County Heritage Museum to display local artifacts and educate visitors on the regional history. Most popular exhibits are reported to be World War II memorabilia and the Pioneer Homestead. Free admission and open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
