As part of the Oklahoma Centennial celebration, this mural shows the light blue Oklahoma flag, with its Indian shield and pipe and the words "Celebrate Oklahoma - 1907 - 2007". The mural was painted by Bob Palmer, a well known muralist whose paintings can be found on the sides of buildings in many Oklahoma towns. Palmer teaches art at the University of Central Oklahoma. He travels throughout Oklahoma and beyond, giving his students hands-on experience painting murals on buildings in town after town. The artists' signature on this mural reads "Palmer - R. Reddick - R.B. 3". The link to Palmer Studios' website shown below describes his work.

Located at 200 S. E. 4th Street, just south of Interstate 40 and north of the Oklahoma River, this grain elevator has been converted into a climbing gym with indoor and outdoor climbing tracks. Equipment can be rented, classes can be taken, and climbing is available for the novice and the seasoned climber.

The grain elevator is a beautiful site as you look at it from the Interstate, or from the restored entertainment warehouse district of Bricktown on the north side of the highway.
