This fountain is located at the Seattle Center near the Intiman Theatre. The water in this fountain flows down each side of a u-shaped sculpture. It is made of welded fabricated bronze.
The artist, Gerard Tsutakawa, (born 1947) is a Seattle native who learned much of his art from his Dad who also was an artist. In fact, his Dad, George, had made a fountain here for the 1962 World's Fair.
The poiece is dated 2000 and a plaque at the site indicates it was a gift to the City of Seattle from a dozen or so individuals and foundations.
