Nestled in the woods by the Chisholm Creek, this vehicle has definitely seen better days.

UPDATE; IT HAS BEEN REPORTED THAT THIS DERELICT VEHICLE HAS BEEN VANDALIZED AND IS NO LONGER THERE - JUST A FEW REMAINING PIECES OF METAL.
About 300 yards off a busy road, just south of the Chisholm Creek, you can spot this vehicle down among the trees. With full summer growth, it may be almost invisible from the road.
Working my way down to it, I wondered how it ever came to be left here. It's surrounded by trees. The vehicle is just north of the parking lot for a large church. Though this is a longer way in, during heavy growth, you can avoid the high Johnson grass on the east.
The vehicle is red, but barely. This appears to be a 1969 Ford Torino, the hot vehicle Starsky drove in the series "Starsky & Hutch." Fans picked up on a comment made by Hutch in one episode, and began calling it the Striped Tomato. This poor vehicle has been gutted and cannibalized - no upholstery, dash, hood, or glass. No wheels, and just the guts of its engine. A bumper sticker on the back reads "DANGER I Drive Like You Do." I certainly hope not, Ollie!
