Photo comes from the Bend History sign on the summit. This view in about 1912, shortly after the arrival of the railroad in 1911. The only structures visible are the “Greenwood Underpass” and the Railroad Depot. The future Greenwood Avenue follows the trail east from the underpass.



Only the Greenwood Underpass remains, the railroad station was moved in the mid 90’s to make way for the Bend Parkway.
