The sign is topped by a fox weathervane with a directional rose. Then there is a three dimensional model of the village church and a train with the village cross depicted between them. There is a sign on the sign with details of all of the village features.

The sign was created by Tony Wakefield and the train represents the Kettering to Cambridge line. There is also a B17 bomber aeroplane which was used by the local airfield during World War II. A donkey and peacock are also featured and detailed.
