This Boundless Playground was designed for the enjoyment of everyone, even those with special needs. Following the accessibility guidelines for the Americans with Disabilities Act this park enables all children, even those with physical and developmental limitations to enjoy independent play to the best of his or her ability. Ramps and rubberized surfaces make it a safe place to spend the afternoon; play equipment offers stimulations to all the senses. A raised water/sand table is perfect for those in wheelchairs. The picnic tables and rest rooms are also wheelchair accessible. Leif Erikson Park is located at 1100 31st Street and is near the public swimming pool.
