Several interesting places in different countries claim to host hypothetical centre of europian continent. The location varies due to

    1) different definition of borders of Europe (esp. whether remote islands are included to define the extreme points)
    2) and method of calculating the final result.

One of these places is an lonely church close to the village of Krahule in the middle of Slovakia. A stone commemorating this point was placed here on July 17th 1992 with text:

Region is interesting for tourists thanks to pictoresque mining town Kremnica, now centre for winter sports and recreation.

Hned viacero miest si narokuje honorovat sa titulom Stred Europy a takmer vsetky maju na to iste pravo. Zalezi totiz na

    1) vymedzeni hranic europskeho kontinentu, predovsetkym ne/zaclenenie vzdialenych ostrovov, ktore vymedzuju extremne body
    2) a na urceni metody samotneho vypoctu

Urcite je vam dobre zname, ze jednym z takychto stredov Europy je aj kostolik v malebnom prostredi Kremnickych vrchov nedaleko obce Krahule. Pamatny kamen tu bol osadeny v lete roku 1992 s nasledovnym textom:
