This old village pump stands right on the sharp corner in Waresley village.

On the edge of the road and churchyard this pump has an attractive stone arch housing over an old wooden pump. Inside the arch is an inscription:

'Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst.'
