This church was declared pastorally redundant several years ago. A Trust was set up to care for this church in 1996 . It is kept open by donations. The font and altar were stolen some time ago.

This is one of England's smallest churches, and it sits on the edge of its largest forest at Thetford .
You cross the river out of Suffolk, and before you reach the Cambridge to Norwich railway line 50 yards on you turn off to the picnic site. Beyond the tables and benches, the track leads down to three houses, all that remains of the village of Santon.
All Saints is amongst them with some fine preserved glass restored by Pugin.
The Church was Built from ruins in 1628 by Thomas Bancroft, it was enlarged and restored in1858 by William Weller-Poley and reckoned to be one of the smallest churches in England.
