Several weeks ago, I was very impressed with the great sunflower barn quilt at this farm. The quilt itself was round in shape, and the gold and rust gave it a warm appearance. Today as I was on my way to Hartley to check out some other quilts on my list, I was startled to see this great quilt on another red barn at the same farm. I’m not sure if it is a recent addition or if I just missed its west facing placement. At any rate, it’s another gem that this family has created and uses the same colors as the sunflower quilt. It is easily visible driving east on Hwy. 18 west of Hartley.
