About the Person
Sam J. Paparone served on the Board of Directors for Brookfield Academy for 17 years and was a past Chairman of the Board as well. I also learned he was involved in the insurance industry and had his own local business.
About the Building
In recognition of the late Samuel J. Paparone's long-time service to Brookfield Academy in Cherry Hill, the organization has renamed its facilities on Haddonfield Road the Samuel J. Paparone Campus of Brookfield Academy.
The building is of brick and was constructed in 1962 according to the gray date stone, set into the brick, in the alcove leading to the entrance, on the lower left side. The Academy serves emotionally disturbed high school students from 32 school districts in a four-county region.
