The Duluth Curling Club is one of the oldest and largest curling clubs in America. It was established in 1891. The first location was a tent, but a blizzard carried that away in its first season. Several building served as the home of the club until it founds its present home at the DECC, Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center in 1976. It is their fourth building but the first one with heat!
It is the second largest facility in the United States next to St. Paul Minnesota's club. It can host up to 13 curling sheets. It has a lounge that looks over 8 curling sheets. As you walk from the DECC to the Duluth MN skyway system there is a glass veiwing wall that gives a great view of all the action.
The club has leagues, junior leagues and more. You can also rent the clubs ice. They even have their own facebook page.
