The First Presbyterian Church was organized in 1876. The present building was built in 1907. The church was designed by Arkansas' well known and prolific architect Charles L. Thompson. The stone church was designed in a Gothic Revival style. The church features beautiful stained glass windows. The building continues to serve its active congregation.
The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
