There are two war memorial tablets, side by side, inside St Mary and St Clement. They are located on the wall of the North aisle and are immediately below the memorials for the First World War.

The printed memorial, on the left, is a simple printed document in a wooden frame. The inscription reads

1939-1945

DEDICATED TO THE PEOPLE OF CLAVERING

WHO SERVED THEIR COUNTRY DURING

THE SECOND WORLD WAR

[NAMES]

The wooden plaque to the right of the printed memorial reads
