This is the modern war memorial in Great Barford situated in its own memorial garden in the village.

Great Barford obtained the stone that is used for this memorial from Asda for no charge. The names are inscribed as they are on the other village memorials with the Vicar dedicating it with Sandy Royal British Legion in attendance.
The inscription reads:
'Remembrance garden and memorial to those who gave their lives in conflict. May those who rest here find peace. Opened 23rd April 2004.'
