This American Patriot is found resting in the Eusebia Cemetery located in Prospect, Blount Co., Tennessee. He served our nation serving in the American Revolution in the service of the North Carolina troops.

Samuel MCMURRAY was born 1750 in Pennsylvania, USA, and died 27 APR 1821 in Blount County, Tennessee, USA. He was buried APR 1821 in Eusebia Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Blount County, Tennessee, USA. He was the son of John MCMURRAY and Margaret EWING. H married Nancy BOGLE who was born 05 OCT 1760, and died 08 JUL 1839 in Blount County, Tennessee, USA.
