The large stone is painted white and has black writing with a finger pointing the way and a coat-of-arms. It stands on Trumpington High Street near Wingate Way and was erected in 1729.
The crescent is the symbol for Trinity Hall and the milestone is still under the maintenance of them as it was William Mowse, a master at Trinity Hall who made a bequest for them. The milestone is Grade II Listed from 10th May 1962.
