Rocky Ford, Colorado, is nestled in the undiscovered part of Colorado, the Arkansas Valley. This Valley of small agricultural communites lies east of Pueblo along the only coast to coast highway in the USA, Highway 50.

Rocky Ford is a special little town that had as its economic base agriculturally related industries that have come and gone. Despite an economic downturn over the last few decades, Rocky Ford’s population has remained between four and five thousand.

Rocky Ford boasts the longest running movie theater in Colorado, the Grand Theatre which itself is a waymark. The Grand Theater WM6KGJ. Of course you could walk 60 feet from this waymark and get the Colorado Historic Marker WM6KGJ while you are here.
