No name, no cornerstone, no nothing except for some new statues out front and a pretty cool bell tower. No doubt this is a hundred year site but just no way to prove it.

There is absolutely no record of this abandoned church anywhere on the internet. Located at Cecil B. Moore Avenue and N. 3r Street, the building represents a common scene in N. Philadelphia: Blight and Abandonment. I was curious about the history of the building but this is definitely NOT the place to stop and talk to ANYONE. I visited during the late morning after a professional development and I did not feel safe.
The faded, wooden, white tower is unique and interesting and it is a shame that it is defunct. There is a sharp, steep spire on top. The tower is octagonal, with long windows, louvered with curved tops on each side. Outer wooden posts can be found between each window. There is enough room to walk up there and more than enough room to house a bell. I have no idea if it is still there. I'd wager yes as there ain't enough money in this neighborhood to take it out. It's just cheaper to leave it and walk away from the building.
