This is the sign for Yardley Hastings and it lies in a special commemorative area to the south of the village.

The sign is double-sided with different images. There is a shrew on one side and a stag on the other in the foreground. Meanwhile the village church of St Andrew is shown with the Congregational chapel which dates from 1813. Other notable buildings are The Manor House and The Old Rectory.
The plaque on the sign reads:
'This area was created to commemorate the Millennium. The plaques record those living in Yardley Hastings on 1st January 2000.'
These plaques are shown in the gallery and have hundreds of names shown. Nearby is a bench and a sundial in the grass. The sign lies next to the busy A428 main road to Northampton and Bedford.
