This abandoned car is located in the woods of Edmond's Lake Arcadia. This is the only part of Lake Arcadia that doesn't charge an entrance fee. From 2nd Street, take the turn to the "Project Office" and park on the south side of the building before hiking in.
The car is completely rusted, filled with dirt and debris, and the hood is partly open exposing the parts to the Oklahoma weather. The license plate looks like GA8921.
According to Collectors Weekly website:
The Ford Galaxie was a full-size car produced in the U.S. from 1959 to 1974, as both a family sedan and a high-performance, muscle car precursor. The original two-tone 1959 model had lots of chrome and big tailfins, but the 1960s models became less ostentatious, opting for a sleeker, more futuristic look instead.
