According to the Utahrails.net website, Union Pacific 25096 was a Class CA-3 caboose, built in July 1942 with the number 3796. In April 1959 it was renumbered 25096, and retired on July 11, 1985. In March 1986 it was donated to City of Eureka, Utah, where it was (and still is) displayed on north side of Main Street, across from re-located UP depot.
