This Rotary Marker is located in the Southeast corner of the Alcazar garden in San Diego's Balboa Park.

It is a bit ironic that this Rotary Marker commemorates the restoration of San Diego's Alcazar Garden since it is made of brick...and the rest of the garden is designed (mostly with tile) to be reminiscent of the Alcazar Garden in Seville, Spain.
Nevertheless, the marker's plaque reads:
"SAN DIEGO ROTARY CLUB
GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY GIFT
TO THE PEOPLE OF SAN DIEGO
ALCAZAR GARDEN RESTORATION
PRESENTED
JULY 12, 1962"
