This fast food restaurant, only the second on the Island, (
visit link) is located at the intersection Of Kuakini Highway and Henry St.
--- > This Jack in the Box looks different from any other in the nation. With this building and the others located at Henry Street Landing, Reddy Development made sure the design matched previously approved buildings nearby and met the architectural guidelines of the Master Plan for Kailua-Kona. Modifications included changing roofing, adjusting the colors, adding rock walls and using recommended landscaping. The developers also worked with the county and Kailua Village Business Improvement District to ensure the project fit into the community

History: Big Island Grill, located across the highway, operates in what was the home of the previous fast food chain nearly 20 years ago. The new 2,400-square-foot restaurant with a drive through is also smaller than the original building.
