The original wooden school house was built in 1856 and was used as a wood shed after the new brick school was built in 1906. The school was closed and consolidated with the Waupaca Unified Schools in 1962.
The brick has been covered by siding and an addition was added to the front of the building. The bell tower is gone but the chimney is still recognizable in the rear of the building. It is now a very nice residence.
