"Powers National Ink Company
The business was founded by Mr. A. B. Powers in Denver in 1889 and was in continuous existence for nearly twenty-five years' under the name of Powers Ink Company.
Many of the banks, corporations and private institutions of Denver have used the Powers Brand of Inks, Paste and Mucilage for nearly a quarter of a century. These products have stood the strictest test required for appearance and permanency.
In 1910 floor space used by this business for manufacturing was about 1,00 square feet. A year and a half later it was increased to about 4,000 square feet and later the was increased to approximately 8,00 square feet." (from (
