The Treehouse used to be the Victoria Inn for 1872-1920, and still has a ship's figurehead (carved about 1838) on its corner, but was painted white due to a deterioration in the wood. It sits on the corner of Baker street and Eastgate Street.
Inside it's a good sized organic food shop and restaurant, the shop on the ground floor and the restaurant on the top floor. The top floor has a separate side access to save you time in getting up there. The restaurant also serves only organic food.
The yalso have a limited range of orgnaic alcohol products such as Mead, Cyder, wine and beer. It is at a premium price but it rather tasty to say the least!
