The Northwest Passage Scenic Byway extend for over 200 miles from Lewiston, Idaho via US Hwy 12 to Lolo Pass on the Idaho/Montana Border, including a side trip along ID Hwy 13 to Grangeville. The Byway follows the general route of the Lewis and Clark Expedition across Idaho in search of the Northwest Passage. In addition it passes through the lands of the Nez Perce.
At this location there is an informational kiosk with four signs about the Grangeville area. There are three additional signs outside and a display of the Camas Prairie Mammoth.
