Looking at this map you may be excused for thinking you’re very near to the sea. Far from it however, the blue colour just designates that you’re right at the edge of the City Centre.

To the North West is the Forster Square retail park. To the East is Forster Square railway station. To the South is the main shopping centre, with some smaller shopping malls and covered markets to the South West.

At this location there is an impressive bank building which was converted to a pub but now stands empty. (visit link)
