The Rennaisance Town Hall was built in 1572 on the place of the original wooden building which burned down in the same year. The Town Hall burned down again in 1790 and in 1833 was reconstructed. Its gable was turned to be oriented on the side of the main square (now T.G. Masaryk's square). During this reconstruction was also installed on the building the toen clock.
