This memorial is located in the downtown of Budapest, at the Kossuth Lajos square, next to the Hungarian Parliament.
The monument is a symbolic grave. Here, on this square a several hundreds of people fell dead onto the ground due to the killer blow of firing squad on October 25. 1956.
The former state security (AVH) where shoot into the mass from the surrounding buildings, killed children and women also.
Also can be found a national flag with a hole in the middle, beside the grave.
