Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého stojí u nejvetší stavby obce - puvodního Purova klasicistního statku cp.1 (dnes chalupa místního mysliveckého sdružení).
Socha stojí ve výklenku plotu na podstavci s nápisem, který je hure citelný.
Svatý Jan Nepomucký, také Jan ci Johánek z Pomuka, (mezi 1340 a 1350 v Pomuku, dnešním Nepomuku – 20. brezna 1393 v Praze) byl generální vikár pražského arcibiskupa a mucedník katolické církve, jeden z ceských zemských patronu.

Statue of St. John of Nepomuk is the largest building in the village - the original Pura Classical farmhouse No.1 (now cottage local hunting association).
The statue stands in a niche on the base of the fence with the inscription, which is hard to read.
