This pagoda is normally open to visitors, however, on the day I visited it was closed while the monks and locals took part in a ceremony nearby. The grounds of the pagoda contain some rather striking and colourful sculpture and artwork. Clearly, most of this is of recent design and construction. The pagoda is close to the centre of the town, and one of the more prominent pagodas in the province.
