Located on a college campus, this Stonehenge replica is open to the public as a tourist attraction, yet it also something that the students can learn art, art history, geology, and mathematics as they study it.
Unlike many of the so-called Stonehenge replicas, this one has solid stones for each of the pieces, some of which weigh many tons. Due to this the tallest stone is not the same height as the original, but there is no way for the tourist to tell the difference. The horizontal dimensions are exactly the same as the original and the replica even includes the heelstone. One difference that anyone who has visited both will notice is the lack of lichens on this replica, and also the fact the stones have fossils in them while the original doesn't.
