The chateu is on the northwest edge of Prague. The area includes a park, riding stables and outbuildings. There is a permanent exhibition of carriages.
There was a five-sided Gothic fortress originally at the 14th century. The fortress was extended in the 16th century by Nicholas Hrzán of Harasov. Afterwards the chateu belonged many owners, especially in the 19 and 20 century. The chateu served as dormitory too.

Zamek na severozapadnim okraji Prahy. Soucasti arealu je zamecky park, hospodarske budovy a jizdarna. V arealu se nachazi stala expozice historickych kocaru,
Puvodne zde stala petiboka goticka tvrz z 2. pol. 14. stol., ktera byla v 16. stol. Mikulasem Hrzanem z Harasova renesancne rozsirena. Zamek vystridalo mnoho majitelu, pocatkem 20. stol. byl v majetku videnskeho velkoobchodenika Schollera. Ve 20. stol. slouzil zamek jako ubytovna.
