The old Midland Town Hall is one of the more recognisable landmarks of Midland. It was constructed in a French renaissance style, and opened for Council business in 1907. Over this time it has seen the region change from a remote, outer area of the small city of Perth, to now being part of the great urban sprawl, and the terminus of the eastern Perth rail line.
Atop this historical edifice is a town clock. The clock is functional, and looks to be more than a few years old. Possibly, part of the original building.
